Is there any reason we cannot go on the road through Redway and then onto the highway, avoiding the hillclimb on the highway? By shear ignorance we went that way last year and some folks stopped at the gas station for drinks which was much appreciated. Given the forecasted warm weather I am sure it will be appreciated again. Whadda think?

Riders climbed up Pine Mountain trail and down the Repack, made famous in the movie Klunkers. It’s not Humboldt but Marin County.
